The ending to Wired was probably the biggest gut punch I've received watching this season's submissions.
Director's statement
Wired is a love letter to thriller films such as "Cranked", the Netflix series, "Black Mirror", but also our own take on the very real AI-driven world we are living in and what could easily happen if something were to go wrong in the application of it.
The film was also co-written by a female writer, Audrey Evelyn Raine, and with a strong representation of female and diverse cast and crew.
